Hmmm... well, it does go more quickly when you first upload to a multiply album. Then its pretty much instantaneous. I'm also on a 54Mbps broadband connection....

Thank you, I am really liking it. That it nearly matches the color of my beard speaks to its congruence. Tess says it makes me think of my father, since he had black hair (what hair he had.)

Thanks, I have many more similar I still need to go through and process. I'm always taking so many pictures and shooting so much video... I could stop now and have stuff to post for a year.

Just now got your comment, it was put in my junk mail. I need a better camera, not digital, then I would be taking lots more pictures then I do. I love to take pictures too.

I've got a great SLR with a sweet 28-200 mm zoom, but I only use it for landscape photos, or situations where I need a good optical zoom. Most pix, frankly, don't need "film grade" resolution. The size and cost factor of digital outweigh it in most cases.

Thank you! I've actually done the same thing or similar things a number of times. Tess often isn't up to holding the camera steady, much less using a flash, so I've gotten very good at knowing how to hold the camera to take a picture of myself just by knowing where the lens is and how wide its angle of view is.

GRRRR... this is not making me happy, Multiply's having ransacked photos. Going to look seriously at finding some other place to be my main photo page, and if I can find a blog / community site which won't go deleting my stuff, maybe start there, esp. if Multiply can import blogs from.

Ah well, guess I'm safe from it happening for a while, can't even put shoes on right foot unless they're slip ons... even socks jar and twist leg too much. My feet have been VERY cold lately. I don't normally get cold, but when you're not moving around so much...

Noticed that in Chicago already... that sandals and shorts in winter are fine if you're walking, but if you're waiting for the bus a block from Lake Michigan, standing still... it gets pretty cold pretty quickly!
